Choosing one of our Retainer Packages can be just like having your own 'in-house' HR department.
Giving you peace of mind as and when HR support is needed. The services covers unlimited (reasonable) calls and emails for HR related queries and ensures consistent and comprehensive support from your single point of contact at People at Work.
We also provide regular updates on employment law and related topics, helping you to keep legal & compliant. You can tailor the service to be as 'hands on' or as flexible as you need.
*The cost will depend on the number of employees you have.

WHAT YOU GET WITH PACKAGE 1
We prefer to have an initial ‘get to know you’ meeting so that we get to know you and the specific issues you face day to day. This allows us to support you from day one and allows you to specify your priorities.
You will have unlimited access to telephone and email support and advice in relation to absolutely any day to day HR issues such as:
- grievance and disciplinary related matters
- managing employee performance
- sickness absence
- employee conflict
- terms and conditions advice such as maternity, paternity and redundancy leave and pay.
You will receive the following documents and HR support:
- Unlimited advice from our advice line Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. This support can also be delivered by email - you choose whichever method suits your needs at the time
- Template Contract of Employment
- Template Employee Handbook with the key policies a best practice employer should have in place
- Key template letters and forms related to the policies contained in the employee handbook
- All documents produced for you will be branded with your Company logo
- 1 Hour of dedicated HR time per month.

You can join us as a client (no fees) and then give us a call when you need assistance to develop an HR solution.

Examples of what we can support you with:
- Micro and small businesses without internal HR expertise can access expert HR support as and when they need it, and only pay by the hour for the support they need.
- SMEs call on us when they have a challenging or complex matter to deal with such as progressing a disciplinary or grievance matter. We can provide remote support or attend your business premises depending on the complexity of the matter.
- Introduction of on-line HR systems / on line personnel files / performance management etc.
- Complex absence, capability, grievance or disciplinary issues (from investigations to advice for panels at hearings)
- Support with organisational design and restructuring
- TUPE transfers in our out of your business.
